A Visit from Family

While doing the Denver thing, my parents and Tristan came down to visit and help take care of Sam. We had a few days to visit with them. Here is Sam practicing saying: "ONE!" The big birthday is only a week away. Nana and Pop-pop asked if we could have a "practice" party for Sam, since they won't be able to come for his actual birthday next week. Nana made a simple vanilla cake, and we practiced blowing out the candle.
Sam was quick to follow Pop-pop around in the morning, he wanted to be everywhere with him. I think he was hoping to get a doughnut or something. I kept warning my Dad to watch his pj pants. Sam has been known to pull them down a time or two.

Sam received a few new cars, a baby pool and an antique Peter Rabbit cup that matches his set for his birthday from his grandparents. He really liked the cars and has been playing non stop with them.

Tristan is staying on a few extra days to work on his senior project. He is shadowing Cody at work, and is even picking up a few hours around the office for pocket money. Hmmm...I wonder if Tristan has a future in Dentistry?
