The house in Sea Isle was about 4 blocks down from the beach, and the Ocean Drive...it was hilarious watching the drunks walk home each night. Speaking of drunks, the night we arrived at the rental house we had a drunk 30 something passed out on the couch. He was TANKED! We had to call the cops to come get him up, they used 3 viles of smelling salts to get him off the couch. Lucky for us, he just slept. The damage could have been alot worse.
Build castles with "Uncle Hamp"
Collecting sand with the wheel barrow
We buried Dennis, he was a bit unsure of this...

Aunt Pat came down on Monday, she got to hang out at the beach and enjoy the Ocean City boardwalk with us and the boys.
This is the only picture of Tris, he and his buddy spent the whole time trailing hotties on the beach and sleeping in late. We didn't even see them eat.
The birthday buddies! Sam turned two, of course and Dennis turned four!
An impromptu birthday smooch!
Sambo got some tools from Uncle Tris and he loves them! He played with them all week and they have been a huge hit since we have been home stuck in the house with the "chipenpops".
Sometimes I think he looks like he is mine, sometimes.
Yeah, not to easy getting the group to hold still for a grandkid picture.
Dancing on the OC boardwalk
Big Den enjoyed taking Lil Den on all the "thrill rides"...I got some typically silly faced Dennis pictures. I don't know who is more scared looking in this picture?
This is a good one of them, we had a few photo shoots.
More OC
Joey and Sam really liked this balloon ride, they rode it in OC and Wildwood.
These two were such monkeys all week, waking at the crack of dawn and not stopping till they dropped out at around 8 every night.
Lots of time at the playground, some days it was wicked hot.
The kids with their Carr cousins...we tried to figure it out...they are cousins 4 times removed. Crazy. Their family are the owners of the rental house.
Teaching the boys to surf in Strathmere. I think this may have been the only time Holly got in the water.
Although, it wasn't as easy as Sea Isle (sorry Hamp) the beach at Strathmere was by far one of the best days we had. We had such a great time, surfing and playing with the boys in the sand. It was really private, almost like we had the beach to ourselves.
Don't they look like a cover of a family magazine or something?
Sammy and Pop-Pop man
A boy and his dad, cute pic, I think.
We headed to Wildwood with Damien, Karen and Damien Jr. They came towards the end of the week. The boys got lucky, most kids only get one trip to the boardwalk.
More thrill seeking!
Uncle Damien with all the boys, except Dennis, who wanted to ride the motorcycles (again).
Cruisin'
Carousel with Nana
And, Sam is doing much better. He is well on the road to recovery after 6 days. I am going to keep him in until he shows complete recovery on his skin. Overall, the pox were very mild in inflamation and they don't seem to bother him much. We had a setback on Wednesday when he had a terrible allergic reaction to his antibiotic for the double ear infection, but it was all straightened out by Thursday evening. Thank you to everyone who was concerned, he honestly was sicker from the allergic reaction then from the actual outbreak of chicken pox.

Looks like you guys had a great time at the beach.
Your rock for getting the Princess Bride reference in my last post!
Those boys are so cute. I had a great time. So glad Roseanne & Dennis let me come down. Glad I could spend some time with you guys.
