This is one of the rickety tables we picked up a few weeks ago at a flea market. Cody took it all apart, sanded, re-glued and stained it.
Before, the "Cody make-over" you couldn't put any pressure on the top for it rocked from side to side.
The table turned out great! We used a "special walnut" stain, and accented the legs with gold (my idea). The legs had a ton of old stain we couldn't get out, so we painted over with the gold. We really liked the touch it gave.
Cody started on the next one yesterday. It has turned out to be a real quality piece of furniture, a true diamond in the rough, covered with a fine layer of mold and all.
